Stemirax belongs on every kind of production: narrative, commercial, music video, or documentary. Designed as a true cinema tool, it enhances visual storytelling without being reduced to a gimmick. Stemirax mounts on any camera equipped with a standard 19 mm rod support. It is compatible with most cine lenses up to a maximum front diameter of 136 mm. To ensure a perfect, light-tight connection, it comes with optical safety rings in 95, 110, 114 and 136 mm sizes. The shortest recommended focal length is 50 mm (on a 24×36 mm sensor). Longer focal lengths provide a smoother, more natural overlay, especially at wide apertures. Stemirax delivers an organic image directly on set. Instead of shooting material with a visual effect in mind for post, the director of photography can see, adjust and integrate the final image live during production, in direct relation to the actors, the set and the lighting.
